Lapis Lazuli…is a deep-blue metamorphic rock and semi-precious stone said to bring the energy of leadership & vision.

Hello, I’m Dr Charlotte.

Goodwill Ambassador for the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.

Goodwill Ambassador for the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.

I first fell in love with Saadiyat when I saw an exhibition about Sheikh Zayed's unique vision for Saadiyat Island, whilst staying at Emirates Palace with Shakira for New Year's Eve in 2008.

I was so impressed that I decided to save up to buy a home on this special island and to relocate from my home in London. This was a dream I eventually fulfilled in 2015.

I’ve spent the last five years meticulously designing, crafting and lovingly transforming this home into my dream island property.

I have decided to open my home to high-end boutique vacation clients and guests at this time, to help generate funds for good causes.

I plan to cover the costs of the staff who have been hired specifically to take care of you, and donate the balance of the net proceeds to fund charitable endeavours in Asia & Africa, as our world sure needs all our help right now.

I hope you will choose Villa Lazuli and enjoy my unique home on our beautiful Saadiyat Island, as much as I do.

Love & Light,

Dr Charlotte di Vita MBE

21st Century Leaders was founded by Dr. Charlotte di Vita MBE in 2003, when Mr. Mandela appointed her as a Goodwill Ambassador to the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.

21st Century Leaders’ mission is to assist and encourage a generation of influencers – royalty, Nobel peace prize laureates, and well-known leaders in the fields of film, music, fashion, art and literature etc – to raise awareness and funds for international development causes, thereby leading the way in promoting positive environmental and sustainable human development solutions.

The foundation has been headquartered at Masdar City, Abu Dhabi since April 2010.

Over 750 celebrity artworks.

Through Charlotte’s charitable organisation 21st Century Leaders Charlotte as gathered as its patrons 754 leaders: Royalty, Nobel peace prize laureates, business leaders, actors, musicians, artists, fashion designers, sportsmen and sportswomen and writers.

The first level of engagement for our leaders is to design and donate their own unique artwork of hope for the 21st century, a simple self-portrait and signed message of hope.

These artworks have been used to design and create a variety of lifestyle products, under a unique artwork licensing campaign called Whatever It Takes, to raise funds for charity.  These limited edition products have sold around the world, in the likes of Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Saks Fifth Avenue, David Jones and Virgin Megastores.

A short documentary about 21st Century Leaders and its Whatever It Takes campaign, featuring Minnie Driver, George Clooney and Nicole Kidman, filmed for ITV’s This Morning.

21st Century Leaders has raised over US $105 million for international development causes in over 50 countries.
